About
The Friends of the Wornstaff Library group was created because we believe that libraries are an important part of every community, and we want to support our library in every way possible.
Mission
We are a non-profit, service-oriented group dedicated to the advancement of our community through its library. Our purpose is to develop and maintain an association of persons interested in the Ashley Wornstaff Memorial Library and to focus the public’s attention on library services; to support and cooperate with the library in developing library services for the community; to stimulate the use of the library’s resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests to the library; and to aid in the provision of adequate housing and other facilities for the library.
Vision
We are a new small group of people living in the Ashley area who want to support our library through gifts and donations. Our vision is to help the library upgrade items not funded by state taxes.
